Operation Christmas Child
is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, providing a hands-on way for people to demonstrate God’s love to children in need around the world. Shoeboxes are filled with toys, hygiene items, school supplies, and other fun gifts, and are prayerfully delivered to children living in vulnerable situations.
The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to provide God's love in a tangible way to children in need around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Each shoebox is an opportunity to bring joy, hope, and the message of Jesus to a child and to help make that possible, we also raise funds to support the cost of sending each box.
Every garment sold will pay the $12.50 donation needed to send a shoebox
, helping ensure it reaches the hands and heart of a child, in Jesus’ name.
Many churches, schools, and community groups across Australia partner with Operation Christmas Child packing shoeboxes filled with toys, hygiene items, school supplies, and other fun gifts for children in over 100 countries and territories worldwide.
But the impact goes far beyond the box.
Each child who receives a shoebox also hears the Good News of Jesus Christ and is invited to participate in The Greatest Journey - a dynamic discipleship program delivered through trained pastors and leaders in local churches.
Funds raised by Vision Clothing will go toward the $12.50 per box donation needed to send shoeboxes packed by Saints Church and New Life Church — two local churches working in partnership with Operation Christmas Child.
Here’s the impact: 1 in 4 children who receive a shoebox make a decision to follow Jesus.
That’s why every shoebox matters and why every garment you purchase helps send Good News and great joy to children who need it most.
